The People at SiLA
Our teachers and staff know our children well and share in their everyday life at school. Each person has a different role, but we work together with one purpose — to help children feel cared for, supported, and ready to grow.
Founder
Whenever I see a rainbow over our kindergarten, I am reminded of God’s promise, and I find myself smiling again. Trusting in that promise, I continue, one step at a time, to build a school that will be a place of refuge and rest for children.
We do not know what these children will become in the years ahead. But I believe that the love of God, who watches over them and clothes them, will lead their lives in His goodness.
SiLA was built with this hope, upon the precious legacy my mother left behind and through the prayers and dedication of many people. On this rock of faith, I hope our children will build lives that are happy and beautiful.
Art & Craft Teacher · School Management
With a background in Fine Arts from Chiang Mai University, Teacher Alisa helps children explore art through different materials and activities. She encourages children to use their own ideas and enjoy the process of creating.
Nursery Homeroom Teacher · Thai Language
With more than 12 years of teaching experience across early childhood and primary education, Teacher Suchanan understands the needs of young children well. Her calm and caring approach helps our Nursery children feel secure as they begin school life.
Kindergarten Homeroom Teacher · English Language
With a B.Ed. in Curriculum Studies and Teaching English, Teacher Emma leads our Kindergarten children in an English-rich classroom. She encourages children to use English naturally through lessons, activities, and everyday conversation.
Kindergarten Homeroom Teacher · English Language
With a B.A. (Honours) in English from Manipur University and teaching experience in academic and special education settings, Teacher Gracy brings a calm and gentle approach to the classroom. Her fluent English and patient, step-by-step teaching style help children feel comfortable, confident, and supported as they learn.
Assistant Teacher
Teacher Waramporn supports children throughout the school day, from classroom activities to meals, play, and daily routines. She works closely with the teachers to make sure children receive the help and attention they need.
Cook
With previous experience in the kitchen at Wangcome Hotel in Chiang Rai, Khun Pranee prepares the children’s meals each day. Her food is simple, familiar, and well loved by our children.
Support Staff
Khun Uthai helps care for the school and supports the practical work that keeps each day running smoothly for our children and staff.
