A New School Year Begins
New shoes, new classrooms, and a few tears at the gate — the first day of Semester 1 at SiLA.
The first morning of a school year is never quiet. Some children walked straight in. Some needed a long goodbye at the gate. Both are entirely normal, and by the second week almost nobody remembers which they were.
Our teachers spend these first days on one thing above all: helping every child learn that school is a place where they are known. The learning follows more easily once that is settled.
